In Parma we certainly know what we’re doing in the kitchen and we have a natural , inborn inclination towards good food . We get our inspiration from anywhere and everywhere, whether it be from the ancient culinary arts,from traditional recipes for typical local dishes or from the magical aromas wafting from the tables and kitchens of the many ‘trattorie’ scattered throughout our area . The ‘Art of Cooking’ is a choice which stems from passion and, if backed up by research and competence, it can become a profession. We made this choice back in 1968 and since then have continued to be passionately involved in our own entrepreneurial adventure in the field of cooking and eating well.
Today, BM is a modern producer and distributor of gastronomic specialities, an established reality which is part of the array of small and medium-sized businesses making up the Parmesan ‘Food Valley’. Our headquarters, which are just outside the city, comprise efficient, rational structures set up according to the most modern structural criteria, and include an office area, and a wing reserved for quality control with a micro-biological laboratory operative at every stage of production.
An avant-garde production unit, a wholly automated product warehouse and an impeccable internal dispatch service complete the picture of a thriving, modern business which aims, above all, to be at the service of our clients. The company is giuded by its founder, Maurizio Barezzi, and other members of the family head up the various operating areas such as acquisitions, production and sales. Administrative and financial management is in the hands of Dr. Roberto Casaretti.
A widespread sales network, supervised by our commercial department, covers the whole of Italy thanks to sales teams co-ordinated by 2 area supervisors. The diffusion of our gastronomic range to top specialist outlets and the contracts we have stipulated with the most important Italian supermarket chains have not curbed our will to expand into the european market, and we are already moving in this direction particularly in France and Spain. |
